Dante “Pre Dolla” Adkins, was born July 22, on the South Side of Chicago. Born in the Princeton Park neighborhood, and later on, raised on 79th street, with a love of art and language, he unknowingly mixed together the pieces for success. His original stage name was "Pre$ice" (Pre-Dolla' Sign-Ice), which stood for "Before the Money and Ice". He eventually shortened and changed it to PRE DOLLA, to cancel any confusion with any other artists with similar names.
His flow is as boundless as the potential of the man behind the swag. With more than just a charm that drives the ladies wild, his lyrics will have the hardest of hip-hop fans copping mixtape after mixtape. With 5 Official Mixtapes in, ("Flyer Than A Lear", "Flyer Than A lear 2", "L.E.A.R.", "Birthdays & Funerals", and last but not least, "That New Pack", he should definitely be put in the same category as his fellow local artists, such as Bump J, Sly Polaroid, Chance The Rapper, BJ The Chicago Kid, Bo-Deal, YP, Jeremih, Rockie Fresh and so many more. His current single "On My Own" embodies his classic Chi-Town style with a smooth, laid-back but catchy beat, and primitive verses.
Pre Dolla was part of the Lex Recs Party in Peace Tour, whose tour stops included Atlanta, GA Miami, FL Philadelphia, PA Memphis, TN, Louisville, KY, Jackson, MS and Lake Charles, LA. Representing his city all across the map, Pre Dolla is apart of the Chicago new school of talent, but still knows his way around the veteran scene.
Pre Dolla has been recently featured in a couple of online Magazines/Blogs; Chicago Flex. (April 2018), IllaNoiz.com (April 2018), and XTM HipHop (April 2018).
